Gastalt on gird
for my first design I did a 4x4 gird and in each box of the gird I put a box of text in each one of them for my first design.
For my second design I had decided to do basically the same thing from my first design and just removed the middle with the same 4x4 gird so it looks like a box using the gird I have.
For my third design my thought of doing while making the gird is that I wanted to make an X using the gird I have made and I was pretty satisfied with my gird at the end.
For my forth one I decided to make a cross since I honestly couldn't think anything so I just went with a cross or dash. 
For my final gird I went of the idea that only a few boxes of my gird was there and that only two boxes from each row would be filled with text and that's the patterned I wanted for my fifth and final gird to have this design.
My least favorite is continuation because although the text is constantly sliding diagonally, I feel like you could have made two text boxes on the same column and then started the sliding as it makes the concept more bold. My favorite is Closure as you were able to put a border with the grid, thus the middle can be viewed as the shape of a rectangle.
ReplyDeleteThe drawing are easy to look at and understand what there trying to make out of the gestalts properties. The reflection under the work makes it easy to understand what he was thinking while making his work.
ReplyDeleteThe grids look simple, however change some of them for example the second one. Make it more creative and thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteMy least favorite design is the "first design" mainly because I can't tell which of the Gestalt Letters it is. My favorite design is the "final grid", I can "see" the grid, but can't tell which of the Gestalt Letters it is. Also he needs to describe this design with more detail.
ReplyDeleteSome of these designs depict the same gestalt principle such as the second and fifth design. However they're very organized and have a clean look. The third design has the most thought and uniqueness to it. You worked very well with the columns and rows of your designs.
ReplyDeleteThe drawings are neatly done but can be better on some. I really like last one because it looks different and the creativity looks neat too. It looks like a checker board which looks really nice,
